Windmills: Hiring and Retaining People with Disabilities
2-hour Workshop

In this breakout Richard Pimentel will conduct two exercises from the award winning Windmills training program. The training will explore how attitudes towards persons with disabilities are formed and their impact on employment decisions. The training will answer language and etiquette questions about disability issues and cover effective and legal interviewing questions and how employers can resolve concerns that they may have about persons with disabilities performing the essential functions of the job that they are being considered for.
