Keynote Presentation: Making A Difference
Ability to make a difference in clients, employees, students, and customers

In this keynote address Richard Pimentel will explore the ways that people have made a difference in the lives of others. He will then relate this concept to how the professionals can make a difference in the lives of their employees/ students and customers.

Some of the techniques that will be explored:

  • Non-judgmental and supportive listening
  • Taking a chance
  • Making a sacrifice
  • Allowing a student to fail
  • Not allowing a client to fail
Goals and Objectives:

Participants will learn to focus on the day-to-day activities of their job. They will also learn to focus on their ability to make a difference in the lives of the clients that they come in contact with.
