Mentoring as a Spiritual Practice
by Jerry Sherk
Today's work place has often been equated to a modern day jungle where to compete or even survive employees have to always be on the lookout for themselves. As Jerry points out, this aggressive attitude can be good for the career and bank account, but it's not always the best thing for the soul. Whether it is a formal relationship, or spontaneous acts of "mentoring in the moment," a focus on "the other" can provide an individual with benefits going beyond the material world. |
