Lessons from the Hero's Journey
by Jerry Sherk

Jerry Sherk was an All-Pro defensive Tackle who played for the Cleveland Browns for 12 seasons. A few years after the cheering stopped, Jerry conducted research on the transition of athletes and other high-performance individuals. Focusing on the question, "What do you do when you are done being a hero?" through the study of psychology and mythology, and by way of his personal experiences, Jerry found several strategies that can be useful for anyone who will ever face a transition.
