Putting Humpty Dumpty Together Again

The old nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumpty may well describe the workers’ compensation system. Before we, (all the Kings horses and all the Kings’ men) can put the pieces of Humpty together again we must know what those pieces are and how they fit together. The pieces are safety, disability management, communicating with medical providers, claims management and transitional employment. The kings men and horses are, risk management, human resources, claims, medical services providers, labor organizations, supervisors and legal.
