A Business Resource Network is defined as an association of public and private organizations dedicated to providing resources of value and benefit to business as a single coordinated service network.

In these times of reduced funding Workforce Development Organizations need to find alternative ways to successfully implement an effective business services systems.

This workshop will explore the basics for a customer relationship management system and look at the South Bay Workforce Investment Boards innovative approach to providing an effective business relationship management system. Customer Relationship Management is defined as the strategy used to understand more about customers needs and behaviors in order to develop stronger relationships, provide quality services and meet the ongoing needs of the business community. Good customer relationships are at the heart of any Business Services program success.

  • Strategies to develop a business services system with limited financial resources.
  • Basic steps to train One Stop Centers, Business Services Representatives and other partners on a Business Resource Network implementation.
